Animal testing

beauty brands that do not test on animals

As an animal lover I do not believe that Animals should be tested on. Although many companies do test on the poor innocent animals. A survey done in 2011 shows they are against the animals testing in the united states. In the European Union is totally against animal tested and has banned all products tested on animals. This was just exactly two years ago in march. China is also moving away from the testing on animals. unfortunately things here in the United States things are way different. The selling of animal testing is really common even if they don't think it is. Many claim they don't sale animal tested items but they wont tell you that. That way they know if it will hurt a human or not. So many try to stop the animal abuse and torture of this mad mess. I'm really against this because they are living they feel everything they do to them its so heart breaking. They are not some toys that you can put make up on and torture them. A lot of animals are killed in the processes also because they insert many products into their bodies. The put injection in their eyes that make them have many consequences. They loose eye vision really quickly. They have many face dis-figuration. The testing also kills their insides. I have found a website where we can donate to and is safe to donate. http://www.humanesociety.org/issues/cosmetic_testing/qa/questions_answers.html

  1. I too think testing on animals is a bad thing. These poor animals have the to live cramped in these little cages for what, to see if the product would hurt humans. If the people are so scared for it hurting people then why not test it on people. Animals are way different than humans, and they can't defend themselves. so way torcher the poor thing.

  5. AMEN SISTA. I hate the fact that our society doesn't acknowledge that these things happen all around our world, the worst part is that they sell animal tested makeup at mostly every store and many companies like L'oreal and Maybelline are sister companies so they support the same terrible issue. I love animals and hate thinking about what harm they went through to help create a product. Thank you for posting this! People need to know about the products they put on their faces!

  6. This is a very controversial topic. Some people agree with not testing on animals while others believe that it is the right thing to do. I am in between because most animals that are being tested on are rats and mice. Currently, there are 4 rats per person in the world. That is a crazy ration if you ask me. I do agree that it can be harmful to the animal and that is sad but the companies testing their products on animals HAVE TO follow rules and there are also laws that protect the animals' rights. Testing products on animals is something that has been around for many centuries and it has saved A LOT of human lives. Everyone has the right to have their own believes and I think its great that you are putting your opinions out there. Unfortunately most of the beauty and health products I use do test on animals but I am okay with that. Overall I think you have interesting posts. Good job.

  7. I am a strong activist against animal abuse. Recently, I have made the decision to only buy products that they do not test on animals. I do not think products should even have to be tested. Many big name brand companies use so many acids and harmful chemicals to begin with, if they were to make more natural products, we wouldn’t even have this problem to begin with. I do not get why they do not use an alternative method to test their products with. By using technology, scientists are able to do testing on skin cells and tissues. I encourage you to check this page out. It explains the different methods companies can use instead of animal testing.
